Employers
continue to find chiropractors throughout the nation at the forefront
for performing Dept. of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol testing
services.
Drug and alcohol testing services fit the philosophy of chiropractic.
Substance use and abuse is our nations #1 public health problem.
Testing prevents and deters substance use and misuse. As a trained
and qualified technician, you will be responsible for ensuring donor
rights are maintained, and entrusted with the integrity of the entire
collection process and your testing site. (Also see TOOLKIT
in right margin.)
Training is available for chiropractors and their clinical staff. either
by Independent Study
(drug, alcohol,
preview
here), or through the continuing
education Diplomate (DVD) program offered by Northwestern Health
Sciences University. (You need not commit to the entire Diplomate program
to complete this training.)
Doctors located within driving distance of the metro area (MN) can also
become trained via one-on-one training sessions. Inquire by calling
(507) 455-1025.
Doctors, CAs, clinical staff and students may become equally trained
and qualified for performing DOT drug and alcohol testing services.
